Who do you work with?
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and engaged couples (premarital counseling).

What issues do you work with?
When working with children and adolescents I address issues such as emotional and behavioral problems, coping skills, self-esteem, and family conflict. When working with children I use play and art therapy. In my work with teens, my background strongly supports the inclusion of the family in order to create the support an adolescent needs to heal and grow.

When working with adult clients I focus mainly on relationship issues, depression, anxiety and fear, stress, self-esteem, and life changes. Additionally I am trained in Prepare-Enrich premarital counseling and have counseled several couples as they make plans for marriage.

What is your therapy approach?
My approach looks at people holistically concentrating on the interactions between thoughts, emotions, physical wellness, and spirituality. I also have experience using play therapy and expressive therapies (art and creative writing) and enjoy working in creative ways with clients when it is a good fit. Feel free to ask me more about specific types of therapies if you are interested.
