Lauren Forsythe, LPC, RPT
I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Colorado and a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Denver Seminary. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and am a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) with the Association for Play Therapy.
I have ten years of experience mentoring adolescents and college aged young adults in church ministry. I also have experience as a court advocate (CASA) working with children in foster care. I have been trained in play therapy working with ages 2-12. Additionally I worked with high risk adolescents in residential treatment struggling mostly with behavioral issues, depression/anxiety, relationship and identity issues, family conflict, cutting, suicidal ideation, and attachment disorders.
I am a Colorado native and live in Boulder with my husband, Will; our two children, Liam and Ellie; and a sweet golden retriever named Daisy. Besides spending time with my family; I love art, creative writing, good food, books, and being outside hiking and running.
